Meeting for Worship is at the heart of Quakerism and is the spiritual focus for the Religious Society of Friends. It offers the opportunity to worship as a gathered community. We come together in expectant silence (in the unprogrammed tradition of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting) to listen to the still small voice within us. Our communal worship experience nurtures the bonds that unite us, helps speak to the needs of all seekers, and gives rise to our core testimonies of peace, equity, justice and social concerns. Long-time as well as recent members/attenders are equal partners in this spiritual quest. We welcome the presence of Westtown School students and faculty, neighbors, and visitors who enrich our worship experience, affirming our deepest belief that the Divine Light Within can speak to our condition.
