FOOD DRIVE…

Dear Friends,

Please consider bringing canned, dry, or fresh food items to Meeting on Sundays at this time.  There will be cloth bags on the final bench in which to place contributions.  All items will be taken promptly to the food banks in West Chester.

We invite all to join in helping to stock our local West Chester Food Banks.  Twenty percent of the 1.9 million Pennsylvanians eligible — received their November SNAP benefits before the Supreme Court placed a temporary hold on processing payments.  Because of this configuration of partial payment, as of today it appears unclear when the rest of the federal funds will be able to be accessed in the state. 

In general, food banks have indicated a significant increase in need for food supplies even before the SNAP stoppage.  As you are led, please just place whatever seems right in one of the bags on the back bench near the east door.
